Job summary

New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center's Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery offers an Advanced Cardiac and Aortic Surgery Fellowship, a fully funded, one-year position beginning August 1, 2027. Individuals who have completed accredited training in general or thoracic surgery are eligible to apply and pursue advanced cardiac and aortic procedures.

The fellowship exposes fellows to high-volume complex aortic reconstructions, including arch repair, TEVAR, and valve-sparing root

Advanced Cardiac and Aortic Surgery Fellowship

Individuals who have completed an accredited training program in general surgery or thoracic surgery and are interested in additional training in advanced cardiac and aortic surgery are eligible for this position.

New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center’s Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery performs a high volume of complex aortic reconstructions yearly. This includes reoperations, open and hybrid arch repair, descending and thoracoabdominal aneurysm repair, valve sparing aortic root reconstruction and TEVAR.
