Position Summary
This position will act as an expert clinical and education resource; staff and leadership development consultant; and Utilization Management content expert for staff, leaders, physicians, and customers across the ePH Utilization Management.
Responsibilities
- This position is remote.
- Assist with the design and implementation of onboarding for newly hired staff and leaders, ensuring they are knowledgeable about Dignity Health processes, regulatory requirements, and their roles. This includes training on clinical applications and job functions.
- Use technology effectively to teach in person and remotely, assessing and designing education programs that support professional development, patient-centered care, and resource utilization.
- Develop training materials in various formats, including videos, presentations, and written guides, for a diverse audience ranging from entry-level to advanced clinical staff and leaders.
- Collaborate with departments to create training programs aligned with workflow processes, standards, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Expertise in Utilization Management, Home Health, and Hospice with 5+ years of experience.
- Knowledge in case management, utilization management, and social services, with understanding of hospital and post-acute care operations.
- At least 2 years of education/training and management experience or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Social Work, or related field.
- Active RN or SW license in good standing.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience in instructional material development and delivering various training formats.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Social Work, or related field (highly preferred).
