Job summary

Cincinnati Pa is seeking a qualified Dental Assistant to support daily clinical operations in our Cincinnati, OH dental clinic. You will assist the dentist with four-handed dentistry, prepare materials, and manage patient care during examinations and treatments.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or higher with dental assistant training or 3 years chairside experience, a valid Ohio Dental Board radiographer license, and knowledge of infection control and patient care.

Qualifications

• Equivalency of a high school diploma plus training or three years of experience as a chairside Dental Assistant.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and Ohio Dental Board Radiographer license.
• Knowledge of infection control, dental materials, and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Placement of sealants and restorative materials.
• Aspiration and retraction during procedures.
• Expose, process, and mount dental radiographs.
• Take impressions and pour study models.
• Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients.
• Prepare records and reports.
• Assist with four-handed dentistry and help keep operatories clean and organized.
