Job summary

Equitas Health is seeking a Dental Assistant in Ohio to support the dentist with chairside four-handed dentistry and patient care. You will prepare rooms and equipment, pass instruments, and help maintain a safe, clean dental environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, dental assisting training or experience, and radiology certification in Ohio. Bilingual skills and Dentrix/Epic familiarity are a plus; expect varied hours and team-based care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting School or two years of dental experience desired.
• Certified in Dental Radiology by the Ohio State Dental Board is required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the treatment room, patient, instruments, and materials.
• Pass instruments and materials to the dentist during procedures.
• Maintain infection control standards and PPE.
• Prescreen patient needs and educate on oral health.
