Job summary

CoorsTek in Oak Ridge, Tennessee is seeking a Production Operator III for a weekend day shift (Fri–Sun, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM) to operate multiple production machines and produce parts per work orders.

You will inspect parts for quality, adjust equipment, transfer items through computer systems, load and unload, keep the area clean, and help train incoming operators while following safety protocols and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read standard and metric measurements.
• Experience with micrometers, calipers and measuring devices.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple production machines to manufacture parts per work orders.
• Inspect parts for quality and take corrective action as needed.
• Transfer parts between processes via computer systems.
• Load, unload and move products with hand-truck or forklift.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety protocols.
• Train incoming operators on processes.
