Role Description

The Advanced Ceramics Instructor will lead in-person classes focused on advanced ceramics techniques, including wheel throwing and handbuilding, at our Redondo Beach, CA studio. This part-time, on-site role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, demonstrating complex techniques, and guiding learners in developing their artistic voice and technical proficiency. The instructor will oversee safe and proper use of studio equipment, manage materials, and maintain a clean, organized classroom and shared studio space. Day-to-day tasks include providing constructive feedback, supporting students during open studio hours as needed, and collaborating with studio staff to refine curricula, coordinate schedules, and contribute ideas for workshops and special events. The instructor will help uphold studio policies and foster a respectful, inclusive learning environment for all skill levels.
