Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration is seeking an Intermediate Carpenter to support reconstruction efforts with extensive carpentry experience. The role involves working with estimators on scope development and progressing as a level 3 in the Progressive Carpenter track.

Responsibilities include risk recognition, material handling, containment for dust and debris, and performing BELFOR-approved carpentry tasks across residential and commercial projects. Some travel and irregular hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Carpentry experience in residential, commercial or multi-family settings.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow BELFOR methods.
• Strong attention to safety and details on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential project problems and request guidance as needed.
• Direct questions to appropriate resources and communicate clearly with team.
• Move and protect contents to prevent damage and maintain cleanliness of site.
• Construct containment for dust, dirt and contaminants.
• Perform floodcutting, salvaging and labeling components using BELFOR methods.
• Complete shrink wrap training and complete 4 shrink wrap projects.
• Identify insulation types and associated R-values.
• Apply trim, doors, cabinetry, insulation, framing, ceilings, roofing, siding as required.
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks.
• Meet BELFOR standards for safeguarding property and customers.
• Work within time constraints and be prepared for nights, weekends, and travel.
