Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced RN for the Advanced Care Unit, a 24-bed unit for acutely unstable patients requiring frequent assessments and interventions. The role includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a commitment of more than one year with potential for a three-year term.

The unit operates with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio and supports complex cases such as multi-trauma, sepsis, stroke, and other critical conditions, with an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit component to inform epilepsy care

Qualifications

• RN with commitment to a 3-year term.

Responsibilities

• Care for acutely unstable patients on a 24-bed Advanced Care Unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3.
• Support continuous assessments and interventions as part of the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) integration when applicable.
• Collaborate with the Epilepsy Team to monitor patient status and treatment responses.
