Tryon Medical Partners is seeking a clinician to function independently alongside a supervising physician. The role focuses on routine office visits, minor procedures, and ongoing follow-up care for the patient population.
You will perform medical histories, examinations, prescriptions, telemedicine, and coordinate with the broader care team to ensure high-quality outcomes. Strong documentation and patient advocacy are essential in this role.
This individual will function independently in collaboration with a supervisingphysician. The emphasis is on routine office visits, minor office-basedproceduresand follow-up visits with the patient population.
Seeingall patientsofTryon Medical Partners.
Performing initial and periodic medical history and physical examinations.
Recording findings of examinations,assessmentsand plan of care.
Performing minor office-based medical and/or surgical procedures.
Performing telemedicine services.
Writingappropriate prescriptionsand administering medications.
Responding topatientinquiresand requests.
Ordering and interpreting laboratory and radiology examinations.
Determiningtreatment plan forpatient.
Documenting all patient encounters,recordsobservations, interventions, and actions in a medicallyappropriateandtimelymanner on the patient’s medical record.
Consulting with supervisingphysicianas necessary.
Working withbroadercare team to provide services to patients of Tryon Medical Partners.
Acts as a patient advocate for the population served.
Attending,participating, and contributing to group/practice meetings and development of policies and procedures when requested.
Other duties as assigned.
Completion of an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program withappropriate certificationexams.
Has andmaintainscurrent Physician Assistant license with the North Carolina Medical Board or Nurse Practitioner license with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
Must have or be eligible for a DEA license.
Eligible for prescriptive authority application through the Board of Nursing or Medical Board in NCrequired.
BLS for healthcare provider from AHAor American Red Crossrequiredwithexpirationdate greater than90 daysfrom date of beginning practice.
Completion of Hepatitis B Vaccine and Flu Vaccine Form will be required.Candidate may decline vaccination through declination form or may provide record of vaccination frompreviousemployer.
Completion ofTBtest will berequired.
Work consistently requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.
Must be able to lift and support weight of 35 pounds
