Job summary

Elders Inn is seeking Advanced Care Attendants for the AM shift (6:00am-2:30pm) at our licensed 52-suite assisted living community in Alameda, CA. You will support residents with daily living tasks, mobility, and vital signs, while upholding dignity and privacy.

Full-time positions follow a 4-on, 2-off rotation; part-time options include 2-on/4-off or PRN. Candidates need a high school diploma or CNA training (or 3 years heavy care experience).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA level training (no license needed) or 3 years in heavy care.
• Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals.
• Ability to follow written and oral directions.
• Basic computer skills (care programming is computer based).
• Ability to life 150 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing and daily living tasks.
• Support residents with mobility and transfers.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Assist with range of motion as per care plan.
• Respond to resident needs while preserving privacy and dignity.
• Monitor activity and functional status, and keep areas safe.

Job description

Elders Inn is currently seeking Advanced Care Attendants (ACAs) for the AM shift

Pay Rate is $23.50 per hour

We are expanding our services and want to add to our team!

The primary functions of an ACA are:

• Help residents with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other daily living tasks
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers
• Take and record vital signs
• Assist residents in active and passive range of motion as defined by the plan of care
• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining resident privacy and personal dignity
• Monitor resident activity and functional status
• Assist with apartment tidying to ensure safety and comfort

We are looking for employees on the AM Shift 6:00am-2:30pm

Full-time positions work a 4-on, 2-off rotation

Part-time positions work either 2-on, 4-off rotation or on-call (PRN)

Minimum qualifications are:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CNA level training (no license needed) OR 3 years experience in a heavy care environment
• Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals
• Ability to follow written and oral directions
• Basic computer skills (care programming is computer based)
• Ability to life 150 pounds
