Job summary

Elders Inn in Alameda, CA is seeking Advanced Care Attendants (ACAs) for the AM shift to support residents with daily living tasks, mobility, and vital signs monitoring in a licensed 52-suite assisted living community.

Full-time roles follow a 4-on, 2-off rotation; part-time options include 2-on, 4-off or PRN. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA level training (no license needed) or 3 years in heavy care, ability to lift 150 pounds, and current COVID-19 vaccination.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA level training (no license needed) or 3+ years experience in a heavy care environment.
• Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals.
• Ability to follow written and oral directions.
• Basic computer skills (care programming is computer based).
• Ability to life 150 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing and other daily living tasks.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers.

• Assist with range of motion as per care plan.
• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining privacy and dignity.
• Monitor resident activity and functional status.

Job description

Elders Inn is currently seeking Advanced Care Attendants (ACAs) for the AM shift

Pay Rate is $23.50 per hour

We are expanding our services and want to add to our team!

The primary functions of an ACAare:

• Help residents with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other daily living tasks
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers
• Take and record vital signs
• Assist residents in active and passive range of motion as defined by the plan of care
• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining resident privacy and personal dignity
• Monitor resident activity and functional status
• Assist with apartment tidying to ensure safety and comfort

We are looking for employees on the AM Shift6:00am-2:30pm

Full-time positions work a 4-on, 2-off rotation

Part-time positions work either 2-on, 4-off rotation or on-call (PRN)
