St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Registered Echo Technologist to provide patient-centered echocardiography exams including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echo, using M-mode, 2D and Doppler modalities.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program, ARDMS or CCI registry, and BLS; minimum 1 year cardiac ultrasound experience preferred. This on-site role supports ACC/ICAEL standards and embraces ongoing professional development.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or equivalent.
• Registry by CCI (RDCS) or ARDMS (RDCS/RCS) is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Mansioni

• Provides the total patient exam experience according to echocardiography policies.
• Assists the performing physician during exams.
• Completes ACC department and hospital-wide competency annually.
• Gathers and records Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement data for ICAEL accreditation.
• Maintains ongoing professional development through in-services and/or CME programs.
• Keeps workspace and equipment clean and restocks supplies.
• Cross trains for EKGs, Holter monitors and event monitors and assists with stress testing.
• Processes echo images and documentation into the echo reporting system.
• Maintains knowledge of insurance codes and required paperwork for procedures.

Formazione

Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or equivalent

Registry: RDCS or RCS (CCI/ARDMS)
