Job summary

V2X is seeking an Automotive Instructor in Rolling Meadows, IL to transfer high‑tech knowledge to technicians who service modern vehicles. The role involves mentoring entry‑level and advanced automotive service technicians, delivering instructor‑led training, and coordinating hands‑on coaching at our Rolling Meadows facility.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of automotive technician experience, ASE Master Technician certification, and prior instruction or dealership exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years automotive technician experience.
• Current ASE Certified Master Technician.
• Two years automotive instructor experience (desired).
• GM Master Technician Certification preferred (desired).
• Previous dealership experience (desired).

Responsibilities

• Work with customers and co‑workers in a team environment.
• Demonstrate professional presentation skills.
• Demonstrate professional experience delivering technical training.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of intricate automotive systems.
• Demonstrate advanced automotive systems diagnostic skills.
• Complete tasks with minimal direction, including self‑guided study, to stay current with technology.
• Ability to travel to in‑dealership coaching events.
