V2X Inc. is seeking an Automotive Technician Instructor/Coach to mentor entry‑level and advanced technicians in Rolling Meadows, IL. This role focuses on transferring high‑tech vehicle knowledge through Instructor‑Led Training in a shop/classroom environment.

The position emphasizes strong diagnostic skills, professional presentation, and the ability to travel for in‑dealership coaching events, aligning with our mission to improve readiness and service quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years automotive technician experience.
• Current ASE Certified Master Technician.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers and co‑workers in a team environment.
• Demonstrate professional presentation skills.
• Demonstrate professional experience delivering technical training.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of intricate automotive systems.
• Demonstrate advanced automotive systems diagnostic skills.
• Complete tasks with minimal direction, including self‑guided study, to stay current with technology.
• Ability to work skillfully with highly technical diagnostic equipment, including: Scan Tools, Lab Scopes, DVOMs, Air Conditioning Recycling Equipment, Vibration Diagnostic Equipment, etc.
• Intermediate computer skills, including the use of the internet, Microsoft Office products and email.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations and work environment.
• Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel to in‑dealership coaching events.
