Job summary

Gills Point S Tire & Auto is seeking an experienced Advanced Auto Technician in Grants Pass, Oregon. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a broad range of vehicles, working with a skilled team dedicated to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include engine, suspension, brakes, electrical, and HVAC work, plus thorough inspections and clear customer communication. ASE certifications are preferred but not required; company supports pursuing certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on automotive repair experience.
• Vocational or technical automotive training preferred.
• ASE certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engines and related subsystems.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair suspension and steering.
• Diagnose and repair braking systems including ABS/ESC where applicable.
• Diagnose electrical/electronic systems and use diagnostic tools.
• Repair HVAC/climate control and refrigerants per regulations.
• Complete vehicle inspections and provide repair recommendations.
• Communicate with customers and team members; maintain safe work environment.
