Job summary

Asbury is seeking an Automotive Service Technician in Utah to repair and diagnose vehicles, perform inspections, and maintain service quality. You will work with a team to ensure timely repairs and customer satisfaction, with opportunities for ongoing training and professional development.

Responsibilities include fault diagnosis, documentation, road testing, and adhering to safety and warranty processes. ASE/Manufacturer certifications are preferred; basic tools are required to perform the role.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• Must have basic tools.
• Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• ASE certifications heavily preferred; Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and diagnosis with some assistance.
• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form and document work.
• Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed in time.
• Maintain technician proficiency as specified by Asbury standards.
• Conduct road tests to confirm work needed and completed.
