Job summary

FastLap Group in Woburn, MA is seeking an Advanced Automotive Service Technician to diagnose drivability, electrical, and engine performance issues, and mentor teammates. You will work with modern vehicle technologies and advanced diagnostic tools to ensure high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction.

You will diagnose and service vehicle computer systems, perform software updates, calibration, and programming, and stay current on emerging automotive technologies.

Qualifications

• ASE Master Technician certification and related ASE certifications preferred.
• Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, drivability and performance areas.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and OEM service information.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance concerns.
• Troubleshoot engine, transmission, steering, suspension, braking, HVAC, and electronic systems.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and OEM data to identify root causes.
• Verify repairs through testing and quality inspections.
• Diagnose and service vehicle computer systems, sensors, modules, and networks.
• Provide software updates, calibrations, and programming when required.
• Mentor developing technicians and assist service advisors with estimates.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship while meeting productivity goals.
