Job summary

FastLap Group is seeking an Advanced Automotive Service Technician in Platte City, MO, to diagnose and repair complex drivability and electrical issues. You will use OEM data, scan tools, and programming to identify root causes, while guiding junior technicians and delivering high-quality repairs.

The role emphasizes staying current with hybrid, EV technology, and modern vehicle systems, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and customer communication.

Qualifications

• ASE Master Technician certification preferred
• A1–A8 certifications preferred
• Hybrid and EV experience
• Advanced engine diagnostics experience
• Leadership or mentoring experience
• Minimum 3+ years hands-on repair experience

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance concerns
• Troubleshoot engine, transmission, steering, suspension, braking, HVAC, and electronic systems
• Use advanced diagnostic equipment, OEM service information, scan tools, and testing equipment to identify root causes
• Mentor and support developing technicians, improving shop performance
