Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking an Assembly Technician II - 1st Shift at 415 Puckett Ferry Road in Greenwood, SC. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 3:30 pm.

The rate for this position is $20.00 per hour and is eligible for a variable incentive plan. This role focuses on assembling Low Voltage Assemblies, operating assembly machinery, and performing quality checks, with material transactions in AS400.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 months of Assembly Technician experience
• Minimum of 6 months of experience using hand and air tools
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration; CPT/OPT/STEM OPT not offered
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50-mile radius only; military exemptions apply

Responsibilities

• Obtain or maintain QEW certification to perform electrical testing on assemblies.
• Assemble, adjust, or repair components using a variety of tools and equipment; read drawings and follow SOPs and instructions.
• Read electrical and mechanical drawings and follow procedures.
• Perform visual inspections and quality checks; apply labels to completed assemblies.
• Support production flow by retrieving materials and completing material transactions.

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Assembly Technician II - 1st Shift at 415 Puckett Ferry Road in Greenwood, SC.

What You’ll Do

The Assembler II is responsible for meeting daily production targets with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, inventory management, and productivity. This role involves assembling Low Voltage Assemblies and performing all related tasks, including those assigned to Assembler I (Flex and Lean), as well as operating assembly machinery. Additional duties include PowerWave2 hi-pot testing, label creation, quality verification, and completing material transactions in AS400.

In This Role, You Will

• Obtain or maintain QEW certification to perform electrical testing on assemblies.
• Assemble, adjust, or repair components using a variety of tools, fixtures, gauges, and equipment; perform layout work and operate tools such as drills, saws, punches, riveters, caulking, and painting equipment as needed.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings; follow standard operating procedures, method sheets, and both written and verbal instructions from supervisors.
• Perform visual inspections and quality checks before, during, and after assembly to ensure all products meet specifications; apply identification labels to completed assemblies.
• Support production flow by retrieving and delivering materials, preparing assemblies for shipment or storage, and completing associated material transactions.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and WSRA requirements.
• Provide support across production areas.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 months of Assembly Technician experience
• Minimum of 6 months of experience using hand and air tools
