Job summary

Staffmark is hiring for an Advanced Assembler Associate in Spring Grove, IL. The role involves assembling products, inspecting work, and supporting safe, accurate factory operations. Monday–Friday shift 6:30 am–3:00 pm with competitive weekly pay.

Primary duties include harness assembly, wire leads, insulation applications, and harness testing. Prior assembly experience and ability to read instructions are required, along with a cooperative team mindset for daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Prior assembly experience is required.
• Mathematical skills are required.
• Ability to follow simple oral and/or written instructions.
• Reading ability to identify labels correctly and read simple instructions.
• Cooperative attitude towards co-workers, leader and supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Select, place, and form wire leads on harness form-boards.
• Apply cable ties and use hand-held tools.
• Apply insulation, tubing and braided sleeve over wires and related operations.
• Plug terminated wires into connector housings and verify retention.
• Use hand, pneumatic, and electric screwdrivers to assemble electrical components.
• Braiding harnesses and standing for long periods; cut braided sleeve with hot knife.
• Test completed wiring harnesses using test fixtures and interpret indicators.
• Perform miscellaneous other assembly duties as assigned.
