Job summary

CompTech, Inc. seeks an experienced Application Programmer III to support analysis, modification, implementation, testing, and operation of enterprise application systems at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. Requires a Secret security clearance and on-site work.

Responsibilities include translating requirements into effective solutions, reviewing and modifying systems, and coordinating testing and deployment with cross-functional teams to ensure security, performance, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of progressive experience in application programming or related technical discipline.
• Experience reviewing, analyzing, modifying, debugging, and supporting programming/applications systems.
• Experience developing application specifications from user requirements and coordinating testing and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and modify programming systems to meet requirements.
• Perform encoding, debugging, installation, configuration, and modification activities.
• Develop detailed application specifications based on requirements.
• Identify inputs/outputs to meet user needs.
• Analyze and modify existing applications and systems.
• Troubleshoot complex application and system issues.
• Oversee hardware and software components for applications.
• Coordinate testing of application systems for validation and deployment.
• Create technical diagrams, flowcharts, and documentation for developers.
• Provide guidance and support during modification, testing, and maintenance.
• Coordinate with teams to resolve application-related issues.
• Support security, backup, recovery, and reliable operation of enterprise systems.
