Job summary
Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or GED required.
- Montana Pharmacy Technician License or Pharmacist License or Pharmacist Intern License required at hire.
- Minimum 2 years (4160 hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system with PTCB certification, or 3 years (6240 hours) hospital pharmacy experience if no PTCB.
- Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Fill/dispense unit-dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to nursing units and other departments.
- Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triage patient orders, and maintain the automated dispensing system (ADS).
- Provide advanced knowledge in two or more specialty areas in the pharmacy.
