Qualifications

• Graduate of Specialty Training Program in Nursing (Required).
• 1+ year advanced acute care or inpatient RN experience.
• Licensed Registered Nurse, State of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing activities to meet patients’ needs.
• Promotes adaptive responses of patients and families to achieve highest level of patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
• Exhibits compassionate care during patient‑nurse interactions.
• Coordinates patient care and staff interaction, ensuring a positive experience for patients and families.
• Completes assessments per scope of practice and unit standards, addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Formulates, coordinates, and provides plan of care, including patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Provides direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies per policy.
• Evaluates effectiveness of nursing interventions and revises plan of care based on patient response.
• Initiates collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team, proactively resolving patient needs.
• Problem‑solves, troubleshoots, and corrects issues with equipment.
• Participates in unit-based decision‑making regarding evidence‑based practice.
• Actively engages as a team member toward unit and organizational goals, monitoring metrics.
• Participates in patient quality and safety education programs and other initiatives to improve quality and safety.
