Job summary

Orange Electric is growing rapidly and seeking an Apprentice 3rd year in electrical school to join our team in Utah. Candidates should be customer oriented, self-motivated, honest, and dependable. The role offers competitive wages and a benefits package, including holiday pay and 401(k) matching.

A Utah Apprentice license is required. Responsibilities include reading diagrams and schematics, applying electrical codes, analyzing problems, and ensuring safety and quality control across projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Electrical Code and local electrical codes.
• Ability to read and follow diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Ability to analyze electrical problems and communicate technical information.
• Knowledge of industry safety practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and verifies quality control and uniformity of work.
• Ability to perform assigned work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and write proposals, business correspondence, technical procedures, schedules, reports, etc.
• Be proficient in measuring, cutting, bending, threading, electrical raceways, conduit or wire, using proper electrical tools.
• Ability to climb ladders, sufficient mobility including, crouching, bending or kneeling.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 100lbs.
