Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst with expertise in Artificial Intelligence to help identify business opportunities, define strategic requirements, and translate complex business challenges into practical AI-powered solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, data scientists, engineers, and leadership teams to analyze processes, define product requirements, evaluate AI use cases, and ensure that technology initiatives deliver measurable business value. This role requires strong business analysis capabilities combined with a solid understanding of AI, machine learning, data, and responsible AI practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, processes, and opportunities for AI adoption.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI and automation use cases based on business value, feasibility, risk, and expected return on investment.
- Translate business needs into clear, detailed, and actionable requirements for AI and technology teams.
- Develop business cases, feasibility assessments, cost-benefit analyses, and implementation roadmaps for AI initiatives.
- Gather, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements, including: User stories, Acceptance criteria, Process flows, Business rules, Data Reporting and analytics requirements.
- Work with data scientists and engineers to define AI model objectives, success criteria, evaluation metrics, and data needs.
- Support the design and implementation of AI-powered products, workflows, chatbots, recommendation systems, predictive models, and automation solutions.
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements using AI, machine learning, generative AI, and intelligent automation.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, discovery sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
- Create process maps, journey maps, wireframes, use cases, and solution documentation.
- Define test scenarios and support user acceptance testing to confirm that AI solutions meet business and user expectations.
- Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, relevance, consistency, usability, fairness, and alignment with business requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams to investigate issues, clarify requirements, and manage scope changes.
- Monitor project outcomes and define key performance indicators to measure business and operational impact.
- Support change management, training, communication, and adoption of AI-enabled solutions.
- Identify risks related to data quality, privacy, security, compliance, bias, explainability, and responsible AI.
- Promote best practices for AI governance, documentation, transparency, and ethical use.
- Mentor business analysts and contribute to the continuous improvement of analysis standards and processes.
Required Skills
- 06+ years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, systems analysis, or a related role.
- Proven experience leading requirements-gathering and business process improvement initiatives.
- Practical experience working on AI, machine learning, automation, analytics, or data-driven technology projects.
- Strong understanding of AI concepts, including: Machine learning fundamentals, Generative AI and large language models, Natural language processing, Predictive analytics, Model training, Data quality and governance
- Ability to translate complex technical and AI concepts into clear business language.
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, business requirements documents, and functional specifications.
- Strong experience with process modeling and documentation tools.
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience supporting testing, implementation, and post-launch evaluation of technology solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with AI-powered products, platforms, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, prompt evaluation, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents, and vector databases.
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for generative AI, including: Accuracy and relevance, Hallucination detection, Bias and fairness Safety compliance, Response quality and consistency
- Knowledge of responsible AI, AI governance, privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Qlik.
- Familiarity with SQL and data analysis.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of cloud AI services, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience in a specific industry such as Investment banking or any financial services,
