Job summary

CardioSphere is seeking a highly motivated Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our full‑time Inpatient Cardiology Rounding Team, supporting top cardiologists. This role offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your license and contribute to a high‑performing cardiovascular service line.

Responsibilities include histories, daily rounds, orders and care plans; SOAP notes; referrals; research and education; and precepting staff.

  • Perform daily rounds and coordinate care.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests; formulate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Prescribe therapies within scope and monitor patient responses.
  • Document patient encounters using SOAP format; maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate referrals and interdisciplinary communication.
  • Participate in research, quality improvement, and continuing education.
  • Precept students/new staff and support clinic operations.

General Nature of Duties

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our full‑time Inpatient Cardiology Rounding Team, supporting a group of nationally recognized, top‑tier cardiologists. This is an excellent opportunity for an APP who is passionate about practicing at the top of their license, delivering exceptional patient care, and contributing to a high‑performing cardiovascular service line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care using established standards, practice protocols, and clinical guidelines.
  • Perform comprehensive histories, physical exams, daily progress notes, discharge/transfer summaries.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests; formulate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Prescribe pharmacologic and non‑pharmacologic therapies within scope.
  • Monitor patient response, modify care plans, and provide patient/family education.
  • Round daily on assigned patients and collaborate with physicians and the care team.
  • Assist with procedures, emergency interventions, and specialty care (heart failure, infusion center, outpatient clinics, etc.).
  • Document patient encounters using the S.O.A.P. format; complete all records accurately and timely.
  • Coordinate referrals, interdisciplinary communication, and patient advocacy.
  • Participate in research, quality improvement, continuing education, and professional development activities.
  • Precept students/new staff and support clinic operations as needed.
  • Maintain BLS/ACLS and required clinical competencies.
Compensation

Pay starting at $110,000
