The Cardiac & Vascular Institute (TCAVI), a partner of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA), is seeking a patient-focused Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join its growing cardiology team in Gainesville and affiliated hospital settings.

About the Practice

TCAVI is a well-established cardiovascular group providing comprehensive heart and vascular care across Central Florida. Our collaborative team includes 23 physicians and 8 Advanced Practice Providers, offering a strong clinical environment with built-in mentorship and support.

Position Overview

This role provides a mix of clinic-based and hospital-based cardiology care and is well suited for both experienced APPs and motivated new graduates with a strong interest in cardiology.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in clinic and acute care settings
• Participate in inpatient rounding and hospital consults alongside physicians
• Evaluate patients, order diagnostic testing, manage medications, and document care
• Supervise stress testing and coordinate additional orders as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

• New graduates encouraged to apply; training and mentorship provided
• Prior cardiology or cardiovascular RN experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, patient-centered approach
