Job summary

Monte Nido Walden in Dedham, MA is seeking an Adult Therapist to provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Program Director. This full-time role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to work within a leading national specialty healthcare system for eating disorders.

You will conduct psychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individual, group, and family therapy for adults, with potential to support adolescent cases.

Qualifications

• PhD, PsyD, MSW, psychology, or counseling degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ direct clinical care experience in mental health, preferably in eating disorders.
• Independent license preferred; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical therapy and case management under the philosophy and objectives of Walden Behavioral Care and NASW.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments, participate in treatment planning, and discharge planning for an average of 6-7 patients.
• Manage cases primarily with the adult population, with the expectation of handling adolescent cases, as needed.
• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy.
• Conduct crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources.
• Work to ensure that all required documentation is completed in a timely and professional manner.
• Work collaboratively with the treatment team and the Walden continuum.
• Maybe required to support virtual patient care and telehealth services as needed, including during periods of low census or to address coverage needs.
