Job summary

A Caring Alternative, LLC is seeking a Substance Use Professional to join the Community Support Team. The role focuses on community-based mental health and substance use services, delivering structured therapeutic interventions to adults.

You will work closely with the Team Lead to implement relapse prevention strategies and support client recovery. The position requires LCAS/LCASA/CADC credentials and a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with at least two years of experience with adults in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Special Education, or related Human Services area.
• Two (2) years of professional experience with the adult mental health population.
• Licensure/Certification Requirements: LCAS, LCASA, CADC.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychoeducation as indicated in the PCP.
• Assist with crisis interventions.
• Support Team Lead with behavioral and substance use disorder interventions.
• Develop relapse prevention and disease management strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive substance use assessments considering the relationship with mental health.
