Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is seeking an Adult Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat adults with communication and swallowing disorders in an outpatient setting. This full-time, days position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team and on-site presence.

Ideal candidates will hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA certification within a year, NYS licensure within a year, and BCLS.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• ASHA certification expected within 1 year of hire.
• New York State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat adult patients with communication and swallowing disorders in outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to meet patient goals.
