Good Samaritan University Hospital, a member of Catholic Health, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to treat children and adults in outpatient settings. You will join a multidisciplinary team, evaluate swallowing and communication disorders, and develop individualized plans of care with goal setting and family education.

Requirements include a Master's in SLP, ASHA CCC, NYS license, and BLS; TSSLD is required.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification required.
  • New York State license and registration in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • TSSLD certification required.
  • Pediatric MBS experience preferred.
  • Pediatric and adult outpatient experience preferred.

Responsabilités

  • Evaluates and treats speech, language, and swallowing needs in children and adults of all ages and diagnoses.
  • Develops individualized treatment plans and sets goals; reevaluates and modifies treatment plans as warranted.
  • Selects appropriate evaluation tools for assessment.
  • Provides speech therapy services to children with IEPs.
  • Addresses articulation, voice, fluency, language skills, oral motor skills, and dysphagia.
  • Maintains accurate documentation for all patient visits in EMR; Educates patient and family; collaborates with interdisciplinary team.

Formation

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
CCC-SLP (ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence)
New York State license and registration in Speech-Language Pathology
BLS Certification
TSSLD Certification
Pediatric MBS (Modified Barium Swallow) experience
Pediatric and adult outpatient experience
