The West Caldwell Public Library is seeking a dynamic, tech-savvy individual to join a collaborative team. The role centers on delivering reference help, readers' advisory, and program registrations, in person and by phone.

Requirements include an MLS from an ALA-accredited program (or current MLS student) and NJ Librarian certification; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Formación

• MLS from an ALA-accredited library school or current MLS student.
• NJ Professional Librarian's certificate issued by Thomas Edison State University.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to establish relationships with patrons and groups.

Responsabilidades

• Covering the reference desk.
• Flexibility to assist at any public service desk or department.
• Providing friendly, high quality customer service to all library patrons including answering basic reference questions, providing basic readers' advisory and program registrations both in person and by telephone.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
