Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field OR two years' public library experience.
• Two years' experience working in a public library with independent work and thinking.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons in using the computerized catalog to locate materials.
• Develop knowledge of the branch collection and other locations to provide accurate information.
• Assist patrons with public computers, word processing, internet searching, and databases.
• Maintain order and safety in the library and follow policies.
• Plan and conduct branch-level adult services programming under supervision.
• Provide outreach to area institutions and community groups as needed.
• Compile program statistics monthly for reporting.
