Job summary

Brightway Living & Learning is seeking a Residential Program Manager for Adult Residential Services on Long Island. The role leads daily residence operations, staffing, and program planning, ensuring safety and quality care for adults with developmental disabilities.

You will train staff, monitor certifications, and coordinate with families and interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans and goals. A rewarding leadership opportunity with a focus on meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma, BA/BS preferred.
• Two years of experience with developmentally disabled adults.
• Valid NYS driver’s license preferred where applicable.
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis and Positive Behavioral Support.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the residence and staff.
• Recruit, supervise, and evaluate staff; maintain payroll data.
• Ensure staff certifications (TB, AMAP, CPR) and annual trainings.
• Develop and implement program plans, behavior plans, and goals.
• Coordinate with clinical teams and families; accompany individuals to medical appointments.
