Job summary

Compass Health Center in Oak Brook, IL is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our PHP/IOP program for young adult and adult patients. You will conduct initial psychiatric evaluations, prescribe medications when indicated, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team in a mission-driven, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Illinois with PMHNP board certification (ANCC).
• Prescriptive Authority and DEA license required.
• RN license in Maryland is noted in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete initial psychiatric evaluation and develop plan of care including meds if indicated.
• Revise and implement therapeutic regimen using an interdisciplinary approach.
• Monitor patient progress and collaborate with the treatment team.
• Document encounters in a timely manner.
• Educate patients and families about clinical condition and care.
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality of care.
• Maintain continuing education and professional development.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with patients and staff.
