Job summary

The Adult Programs Educator at the Oklahoma History Center is a role within the Oklahoma Historical Society focused on developing and delivering adult programming and events. Qualifications

• College degree in a relevant field and 2+ years of experience
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and education programs

Responsibilities

• Lead creation and execution of adult learning experiences and events tied to exhibits
• Collaborate with marketing on program series and sponsorship development
• Support school-group coordination and teacher/student workshops
• Develop social media copy and gather program media
• Coordinate community partnerships and outreach for OHCM
• Staff tours and deliver curriculum-aligned content for K-12 visits
• Create living history characters for in-house and outreach programs
• Attend events and develop monthly education team reports
• Communicate with staff and the public via email/meetings/phone
