Job summary

The Oklahoma Educational Television Authority (OETA) announces the opening of the full-time Education Program Manager position located in Oklahoma City. This role leads development, delivery, and improvement of educational initiatives, workshops, camps, and professional development sessions, reporting to the Vice President of Education and applying mission-driven leadership.

The ideal candidate will manage Tier 2 partnerships, leverage data and logic models, and turn insights into program

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, communications, or related field (or equivalent).
  • 3–5 years of program management experience in education, public media, or non-profit.
  • Proven ability to sustain external partnerships with libraries, nonprofits, and schools.
  • Experience with logic models, evaluation frameworks, and data-driven iteration.
  • Strong written and verbal communication for impact notes and reports.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment with strong time-management.
  • Commitment to inclusive workplace and lifelong learning.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Own full development cycle for programs from design to delivery and revision.
  • Collect delivery data, attendance, observations, and feedback to inform design.
  • Conduct post-activation evaluations and align with strategic goals.
  • Manage Tier 2 partner relationships across libraries, nonprofits, and schools.
  • Represent program portfolio in meetings and deliver workshops and PD sessions.
  • Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and resources for programs.
