The University of Iowa Health Care department of Food & Nutrition is seeking a Clinical Dietitian I or Clinical Dietitian II to use the Nutrition Care Process to assess, evaluate, and provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling for the oncology adult and geriatric outpatient populations.

• Teach Master of Clinical Nutrition students
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams and develop nutritional components of care
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient's age

Required Qualifications:

• A master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Reasonable (5-7 years) clinical nutrition experience
• Competency in patient care for oncology adult and geriatric outpatient populations
• Experience in making enteral and parenteral nutrition recommendations and selecting appropriate formulas
• Licensure by the State of Iowa
• Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
