Job summary

Mental Health America of Los Angeles (MHALA) seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide a comprehensive spectrum of psychiatric services under the supervision of a psychiatrist. This full-time position is based in the Los Angeles area with a salary range of $155,000–$172,000 annually and a competitive benefits package.

Requirements include a Master’s in Nursing with PMH specialty, PMHNP program completion, valid California NP license with furnishing authority, and LPS designation or qualification

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing with a specialty in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing and completion of an approved PMHNP program.
• California Nurse Practitioner license with furnishing number.
• LPS designation or qualification under CA 5150 process.
• Minimum 3 years of driving history with a valid license and vehicle.
• TB clearance and ongoing vaccination policy adherence.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychiatric consultation and medication management under supervision.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support member care.
• Prescribe medications and obtain necessary consents.
• Maintain program documentation and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Engage in professional development and community liaison activities.
