Glenview Public Library invites applications for an Adult Library Services Ambassador. This part-time role (16 hours/week) includes evenings and one Saturday per month, with a pay rate of 20.83 USD per hour.
You will be the first friendly contact at the adult service desks, delivering reference, readers' advisory, and technology assistance. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s Degree or LTA Certificate, are available for evenings/weekends, and have familiarity with literature.

work schedule— Mondays 5:00pm-9:00pm, Tuesdays 12:00pm-5:00pm, Thursdays 5:00pm-9:00pm and one Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm and Sunday 1:00pm-5:00pm weekend per month

The Adult Library Services Ambassador serves as a welcoming first point of contact at the adult service desks, providing essential reference, readers' advisory, and technology assistance. This role is dedicated to elevating the patron’s experience by actively promoting library services, resources, and programming, ensuring that every community member has a meaningful and successful visit.
