Job summary

Goodwill coordinates The Helms Academy operations to provide leadership and support for adult learners. You will administer tests, monitor attendance, track progress, counsel students, and coordinate schedules across New Jersey and Philadelphia.

Travel to Helms Academy locations is required. A Bachelor’s in Education or Business (or an Associate’s with 3–5 years in program management) is expected, along with strong communication and confidentiality in handling student records.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Knowledge of local support social services helpful.
• Ability to counsel and motivate adult learners to overcome barriers.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain student data and progress in systems.
• Provide academic and social support to students.
• Prepare reports and present findings.
• Meet with students to review progress and set goals.
• Market and recruit students for Helms Academy programs.
• Maintain confidentiality of school records.
