Position Information

• Part-time .5 FTE Adult Basic Education Educational Assistant working with students 17 and over who are learning English.
• Approximately 20 hours a week (8:15-1:45, M-Th.) Additional evening hours available (5:45 - 8:00, T & W)
• Assist teachers with classroom instruction, one-on-one instruction, and small group instruction.
• Assist students individually or in a group for the purpose of reinforcing learning concepts taught by a certified teacher.
• Provide general classroom support; making copies of classroom materials; help with attendance.
• Work as a team member with other professionals.
• Attend training workshops and other school meetings as required.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Rate of Pay:

$16.42 - $20.50 depending on experience
