Job summary

The Tucson Jewish Community Center, Incorporated seeks an Adult Day Program Director to lead the Disability Program Services, ensuring innovative programming and exceptional participant and family experience. This full-time role requires strategic vision and strong staff management to deliver outstanding service.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staffing, enrollment processes, family communication, marketing coordination, grants/compliance, and payroll oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred.
• At least 3 years’ supervisory experience.
• 5+ years’ experience with individuals with disabilities, including program management (preferred).
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication; extensive customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Jewish culture, traditions, and community (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist Sr. Director with budget creation and meeting metrics.
• Hire, supervise, coach, train, and evaluate leadership staff.
• Oversee enrollment processes: inquiries, tours, enrollment, orientation.
• Implement engagement plan with families and staff.
• Coordinate marketing and communications.
• Ensure program compliance and reporting; manage payroll.
• Provide direct service as needed.

Position Title: Adult Day Program Director. Program/Department: Disability Program Services. Full-time. Provides vision, leadership, and overall staff management of the DPS adult day program; serves as the welcoming face of the department; ensures innovative programming and exceeds expectations for participants and families.

Responsibilities

• assist Sr. Director with budget creation and meeting metrics;
• hire/supervise/coach/train/evaluate leadership staff;
• assist in hiring/training direct support professionals;
• oversee new participant inquiries, tours, enrollment, orientation;
• implement engagement/communication plan with families/staff;
• evaluate and implement staff trainings;
• communicate program vision;
• coordinate marketing/communications;
• coordinate with Building Services;
• implement grants and reporting;
• ensure compliance;
• manage payroll;
• attend staff trainings/meetings;
• provide direct service as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred);
• at least 3 years’ supervisory experience;

Salary: $55,000/year.
