Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Software Engineer Intern (Ads Interface) for Summer 2027 in San Jose. You will design, develop, test, and improve ads experiences, while collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers.

This internship offers hands-on experience with large-scale systems, AI-driven personalization, and growth strategies in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include mentoring a small team, owning priorities, and shaping the technical roadmap.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and software design.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Commit to a 12-week full-time internship during Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and improve TikTok Ads Interface experiences.
• Lead and mentor a focused team of software engineers.
• Collaborate with PMs, designers, and engineers on next-gen ads experiences.
• Own team project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Contribute to a long-term technical roadmap and decisions.
