Qualifications

• Must have Master’s in Social Work or related Social Services Master’s degree.
• California licensing required or eligible for licensure.
• Experience in adoption or foster care settings.
• Strong writing and computer skills are essential.
• Cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse families.

Responsibilities

• Assess families for adoptive readiness and complete home studies.
• Prepare adoption home studies and post-placement reports per guidelines.
• Provide case management and quarterly family contacts.
• Coordinate travel and home visits; support post-placement adjustments.
• Counsel child and family; liaise with clinicians when needed.
• Document all contacts and participate in outreach with Holt offices.
