The successful candidate will hold a master's in social work, possess license if required, and bring strong writing, assessment, and cross-cultural communication skills to ensure safe and suitable adoptive placements.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in social work (or related field) and state license where applicable.
  • Minimum five years of experience in a social service setting.
  • Proven clinical and assessment skills for adoption services.
  • Knowledge of family and group dynamics and adoption practices.
  • Excellent writing and computer skills; cross-cultural sensitivity.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-home studies and psycho-social assessments of families for adoptive placement.
  • Prepare home studies and post-placement reports compliant with guidelines and USCIS requirements.
  • Provide case management and quarterly contacts with assigned families.
  • Assist with travel logistics to assigned areas and coordinate transitions for placements.
  • Collaborate with Branch Office and Eugene teams to support adoption processes.
