Job summary

Children’s Network of Hillsborough seeks a dedicated Adoption Recruiter to advance permanency for youths in foster care by implementing the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids model. You will manage a caseload, recruit families, and coordinate with child welfare professionals and partners to support successful outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a relevant field, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to travel within Florida.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology or related field required.
• At least two years of child welfare and/or adoption experience preferred.
• Ability to navigate confidential information and HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Caseload management and child-focused recruitment for youth in foster care.
• Youth engagement: monthly visits and permanency planning activities.
• Staffing facilitation and professional collaboration for meetings and case reviews.
• Partnership development with community agencies to identify adoptive matches.
• Pre-adoption support and guidance for families matched with youth.
• Documentation, data collection and timely reporting to required systems.
