Cornerstones of Care in Kansas City, KS is hiring a Manager of Adoption Accelerator to guide the adoption process from parental rights termination to permanency. You will lead with strong communication, internal and external collaboration, and inspirational leadership to help families complete the required steps promptly.

This role reports to the Director of Permanency Services and requires 2–5 years in child and family services, a Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field, license in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related human services field required.
• Licensed by the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board to practice in Kansas.
• At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence with reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Review, approve, and sign outgoing adoption documents (e.g., social histories, BIS, home studies).
• Monitor tracking of key adoption documents and dates (birth certificates, records, applications).
• Attend PS-TDMs, court hearings, and staffing as needed.
• Complete background checks (KBI, CANIS, etc.).
• Assign adoption home studies internally and externally.
• Ensure quality completion of home studies and sign off on billing.
