The Blossoms at Cumberland in Little Rock, AR is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the DON in planning, directing, and evaluating nursing services. The ADON will oversee staffing, compliance, and resident care with a holistic, rehabilitative approach to maximize resident independence.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arkansas or a compact license.
• Advanced education and/or managerial experience in nursing preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership in a healthcare setting.
• Commitment to elder care and ability to work with diverse personalities.
• Proficient in computer applications relevant to job duties.
• Access to reliable transportation for flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nursing operations and support strategic planning and evaluation of nursing services.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and drive quality improvement initiatives.
• Oversee resident care through rounds and direct involvement as needed.
• Manage staffing to meet resident needs and cover the DON in their absence.
• Facilitate communication about resident status changes with stakeholders.
• Implement nursing policies and procedures, and participate on the floor when necessary.
• Lead staff training and professional development to promote excellence.
