Heartland is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our dedicated team. The role focuses on leadership, quality care, and compliance in a family-oriented setting with emphasis on patient and staff development.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing (Tennessee as stated).
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Experience in LTC/SNF leadership preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient care to ensure treatments and medications are administered as ordered.
• Conduct daily rounds to maintain up-to-date knowledge of patient status.
• Support the Director of Nursing in managing nursing services in a team-oriented setting.
• Provide leadership to nursing staff through training, mentoring, and evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards and long-term care regulations.
• Develop and implement policies to promote high-quality care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to achieve patient care goals.
• Maintain supplies and equipment to support nursing operations.
